Building up a head of steam! `88 SETA Sedan refresh
I really like your car and what you're doing with it.
Thanks! High praise, indeed, coming from you!! Your car is one of my absolute favorites on the board, and an inspiration. The color has TOTALLY grown on me, to the point where I can't imagine just having silver wheels ('cause everyone has `em). I do wish the fitment was better. As you know, you have to run some hefty spacers on there, and the front has a fair bit of 'poke.'
yes i agree, this is a good build.. very nice stuff
Why, thank you! There's a long way to go still, but I'm glad you like it so far :)

If I remember right (and sometimes I don't) I sold them with 2 sets of spacers. Which ones do you have?
So, I have the 10mm spacers it looks like. They say 100/10.
Did some minor work to Sheba today...
Pedal set in Black from BMWPedals.com (through Levent at GutenParts, of course). Pretty happy, but the template they supplied was a little bit off, which kinda sucks. I altered the position of the template for the second pedal and it came out great. Visually, they are a BIG improvement over stock (to my eyes, anyway). I had been afraid they'd be a little to flashy for me, but I really dig `em!
Tomorrow I mount the RaceSkids skidplate.
Oh I also installed one of the Zimmerman rotors up front, but I destroyed the allen head on the other one's locating screw, and can't get the dang rotor off... Time to search for solutions!

You could always drill it out, using a revers drill bit or regular. Or try hammering a torx bit socket in there after heating the screw up a little with a propane torch or just hammer it some to loosen up the rust.
Nice lookin car by the way. Wheels are sweet.

Thanks for the advice, and the compliment as well! I'm ready to just try hitting it really hard with a hammer at this point! I cannot believe how little maintenance my poor car had gotten from the PO!!

Popped the RaceSkids skid pan on the car today. OPretty darn easy, and GREAT peace of mind!
Also had the Hankook Ventus V12 Evos popped on the car and finally got an alignment. What a difference! Really, really liking the Hankooks so far. And they were realy inexpensive at TireRack. WOOT!
